Nicorette “Cigarette/Syringe”

This unbranded ad from the makers of Nicorette asked consumers to confront their own nicotine addiction by taking a simple test and reporting the results to their doctors. The bold cigarette/syringe graphic was also used in TV spots urging smokers to recognize their addiction and get the help they needed to quit. At the time, Nicorette (nicotine gum) was virtually the only prescription-strength smoking cessation aid available.
